Cities and Governments
Protect Your Citizens from Ransomware
If you have been watching the news, you know what is going on. Ransomware attacks on governments in the US rose 28% in 2018 from the previous year. As of July 31st, 2019, there have already been 48 reported attacks, including attacks on Baltimore, MD; Denver, CO; and Riviera Beach, FL, showing that we are on our way to a new record.
Not only have ransomware attacks been increasing in 2019, but also the ransom amount. Since 2017, ransoms have increased over 10 times. In Riviera Beach, ransomers demanded $600,000, and less than two weeks earlier, $500,000 from Lake City, FL. However, it’s much worse for those who don’t pay the ransom, costing the cities millions of dollars. Since the ransomware attack on May 7th, Baltimore has spent over $18 million trying to recover from the incident.
We know how critical your data and network are to you and your citizens because we are your citizens. That is why we partner with Rubrik, to bring stability and security to your organization so you can rest easy, despite the odds.

How Trinsio Can Help Your Organization
Rubrik secures data with FIPS-certified hardware or software-based encryption, so all data is encrypted at-rest and in-flight, whether it is on-premises or in the cloud.
All ingested data is written and stored in an immutable, read-only format, preventing a potential threat, such as ransomware, from accessing and encrypting underlying backup data.
Rubrik ingests large volumes of data rapidly by maximizing the number of parallel data streams processed.
Maximize storage efficiency with global deduplication across one infinitely scalable cluster.
Choose to replicate the data on your Rubrik Brik to the Trinsio Cloud for additional redundancy.
Quickly recover VMs, SQL, and Oracle databases by mounting directly onto Rubrik without additional storage provisioning.
Bare Metal Recovery
In the event of a disaster, deliver full system recovery for Windows and migrate to any hypervisor or cloud instance. Quickly restore in-place with the operating system and critical data intact.
